How to use the Dieter app, step by step
Getting started
How to create an account, sign in and set the app language. Dieter is free to start with, and you can pick a higher plan whenever you like.
A ready-made plan from the library
You don't have to start from an empty week. The library has ready-made plans for different calorie levels and diets, and you can take any of them and change it your way.
Active plan
The active plan is the diet you're following right now. Dieter shows you what to eat each day, and you tick off the meals you've eaten.
Calorie calculator
The calculator estimates roughly how much you burn in a day and how much you can eat for your chosen target weight and pace. The plan library then uses that number.
Your own diet
You can build your own diet from scratch or change a plan you took from the library. This article covers both.
Shopping list
The shopping list builds itself from your diet, and in the shop you tick off what's already in your basket.
Groups and shared lists
A group is a few people who share diets and shopping lists, for example a family or flatmates. One person ticks things off in the shop, and everyone else knows what's already been bought.
