The active plan is the diet you're following right now. Dieter shows you what to eat each day, and you tick off the meals you've eaten.
Only one plan can be active at a time. If another plan is already running, the app asks whether to replace it. The previous plan doesn't disappear, it stays on your list of diets.
For a plan from the library, first take it with the Take this plan button. The app opens your copy, and that's where you'll find Set as active.
While the plan is running, a bar with its name and day sits above your list of diets, for example Day 2 of 7. Tap the bar to open the Active plan screen.
If salt goes over 5 g on a given day, or saturated fat provides more than 10% of the energy, you'll see a note with the WHO recommendation under the table.
Tap the circle next to a meal once you've eaten it. The Ticked 3 of 5 counter counts meals, not calories. Nothing turns red when you eat something different: the plan is an average over many days, and one different day doesn't spoil anything.
Your ticks stay on your phone only. They're not sent to the server and nobody but you can see them, not even your dietitian. They're cleared when you end the plan or start it again.
If you've set your calorie target and the plan's average falls outside your tolerance (±200 kcal by default), you'll see both numbers and the difference under the plan name. In the library, the My calories filter shows plans closer to your target. More in the Calorie calculator article.
This note doesn't appear for plans from a dietitian, because the dietitian builds the plan around the goal you agreed on together.
If you work with a dietitian, a plan proposal may appear above your list of diets. Tap Answer and choose From today, From tomorrow or Not now. An accepted plan carries the From your dietitian label.
